Honest question here. We hear about all the fraud waste and abuse everyday, but 95% of Americans do not. Therefore, the media is still free to write the narrative to control the next election. Elections turn on the economy. No one cares about waste in Africa if their own financial position is fine and viceversa if voters are economically distressed they still don’t care about waste in Africa if the media does not sell the narrative that their position is directly related to the corruption of the federal government. In addition, congress just passed to spend every penny again on waste and corruption that DOGE has found from last year. The president has to spend the money since congress controls the purse strings, so what’s the end game here? Elon has no authority to cut any money or fire anyone and without a media outlet there blasting away at all the findings it’s value is worthless. It gets the people who care all worked up but for no effect. If Trump really cut a trillion in spending that would crash the economy temporarily and by the time it recovered, the republicans will be back in the minority, Trump will gone and the dems will go back to status quo. Trump didn’t even push a budget that included his own tax cuts which will never pass during an election year next year.
I think if you look at polling you see that the democrats take the position supported by 20% and Trump takes the position supported by 80%. That means that even when the media tries to slime Trump and lies about particulars, they still get out the basic gist of who stands where. So people know that Trump is trying to get rid of fraud and the democrats are trying to keep anything from being done about it. They know that Trump is trying to get illegals who have raped and murdered out of this country, and judges at the behest of democrat lawyers are trying to say he can’t do that.
The democrats are at the lowest popularity they’ve ever been. The polls just keep going down. And Trump’s approval ratings are good. Most people think the country is on the right track now.
The funding measure, I believe, was so they could have time for DOGE to find the waste and fraud and they could get realistic budget numbers based on that. Trump said in his address to Congress that he thinks we can balance the budget. That’s obviously his goal and what he’s working towards. We have to get rid of the lawfare before any of these accountability measures can go into effect; the communist crooks are buying time, hoping that they can hold things off until the mid-term election.
I’m hoping and praying that by the mid-terms there will be legislative vacancies in both House and Senate because of arrests. If that happens, the whole equation changes.
I saw at https://x.com/ProjectConstitu/status/1903919892732260545 that very recent court filings have been made where the arresting officer, the alleged victim, and the prosecutor have signed affidavits saying that they were paid by P. Diddy to frame, arrest, and secure a conviction of an innocent man (through bribes of judges) so that P. Diddy wouldn’t have to pay his contractual obligations to that man. I haven’t yet looked up those filings to see the actual affidavits, but I bring this up here because right now the frontline of this war is the judiciary. The more people realize how easily judges can be bought, the more likely we are to be able to convince Congress and Supreme Court that they need to get a handle on this. And that is critical because when these arrests are made we can’t have the swamp protecting these people just as hard as they are trying to suffocate Trump and we the people.

ransomnote: That was true when Twitter was censored by the government, but now that Musk set X.com comparativelyfree, and people like Joe Rogan (x.com, podcasts, youtube videos) and Musk have massive followings, far more people get the truth.
Therefore, the media is still free to write the narrative to control the next election.
ransomnote: The media was shocked to discover it has lost some of its power when Trump won. Hollyweird gave it their all, yet Trump won. The MSM will still write the narrative but from fewer outlets with less staff, as the legacy media is shrinking and continues to lose its audience (cough* Rachel Maddow *cough).
Elections turn on the economy. No one cares about waste in Africa if their own financial position is fine and viceversa if voters are economically distressed they still don’t care about waste in Africa if the media does not sell the narrative that their position is directly related to the corruption of the federal government.
ransomnote: "Waste in Africa" is actually money denied those in North Carolina living in destruction following the hurrican, or those burned out in LA or Hawaii. People denied help in need don't like hearing that billions were sent to Africa to support transgender issues. It's going to be very obvious when the DOGE process is done - it won't be some obscure 'Africa' issue.
In addition, congress just passed to spend every penny again on waste and corruption that DOGE has found from last year.
ransomnote: Not sure which bill you're refering to here. The government will be so transformed and realigned with truly American issues that the lamentations of today will seem strange then. Trump can cut and revise until the government is the right size, spending money on the right issues, and that will indeed be a shock.
The president has to spend the money since congress controls the purse strings, so what’s the end game here?
ransomnote: It sounds like you're refering to the recent CR. NOrmally such spending bills specify what the money could be spent on. But this bill omitted specific expenditures so the president is not confined to spending the money on issues/programs he does't want. That's why the big tantrums on the left.
Elon has no authority to cut any money or fire anyone and without a media outlet there blasting away at all the findings it’s value is worthless. It gets the people who care all worked up but for no effect.
ransomnote:The public approves of the cuts Elon is making and the media 'blasting away' calls attention to this graft - further reducing the likelyhood that people won't hear about 'cuts in Africa.' The President is doing a great job of telling the public and DOGE has a portal showing the public what's going on. Elon and DOGE are reporting their finds to X.Com and various interviewers are talking about it on their own programs. Recall the White House threw AP out and gave front row seats to small media outlets. Those small outlets are gaining strength. It will take time, but the message is continuing to seep out to the public.
If Trump really cut a trillion in spending that would crash the economy temporarily and by the time it recovered, the republicans will be back in the minority, Trump will gone and the dems will go back to status quo.
ransomnote: So much more is going on outside your doom post. 'Small things' like closing the Department of Ed and sending education back to the states will impact anyone with children. The changes in DC are growing in size and scope, Trump is lining up to take on the courts etc. From the time the left started persecuting him, more of the public tuned in and they haven't gone away. It won't be smooth sailing, but this is radically different from Biden.
Trump didn’t even push a budget that included his own tax cuts which will never pass during an election year next year.
ransomnote: Trump will be able to talk about the wild improvements across his government, saving hundreds of billions and he has talked about 'no taxes under $150,000 etc - I just am not going to count him out. He doesn't signal his whole plan ahead of time as enemies would attack it before its born. Things are going very well.
In general, your post sounds like it's still 2022. Take heart, EVERYTHING is changing and will look different from here on out.
