We all called it; female D.I.E pilot.
Like so many now.
The girl may have been a good pilot. Look into her background.
Captain has the responsibility to take over when necessary
He should of tracked her rate of decent on the approach.
Yeah, about 5% of the pilots are women, but they seem to be involved in a lot of the crashes. This girl was young and pretty and the army helicopter pilot who collided by the passenger jet seemed to have big connections through her father. I think there was another near miss with a female flying.
Maybe only most pilots are men because men are generally more suited to be pilots. Getting ridiculous, like with women police and firemen.
Also, total screw up by the pilot who was not flying, but was responsible for taking action to make sure they landed safely. Also by someone in management in putting those 2 clowns together flying the plane.
I hazard a guess that we won't be surprised.
Another FReeper posted the following the other day (I have not seen sourcing):
The first officer, who was in her fifth straight day of flying, was at the controls of the crashed plane.
She had 1,422 hours of flying total.......
below the FAA minimum to be a commercial pilot.
She was able to fly unsuspecting passengers with a “special exception” from the FAA because she had a specific aviation degree and “received a waiver”...
