Yeah, about 5% of the pilots are women, but they seem to be involved in a lot of the crashes. This girl was young and pretty and the army helicopter pilot who collided by the passenger jet seemed to have big connections through her father. I think there was another near miss with a female flying.
Maybe only most pilots are men because men are generally more suited to be pilots. Getting ridiculous, like with women police and firemen.
Also, total screw up by the pilot who was not flying, but was responsible for taking action to make sure they landed safely. Also by someone in management in putting those 2 clowns together flying the plane.
I'd say the makeup of a batch of pilots runs the approximate same as an advanced physics class. The few women in the class are usually very good. Aviation leaves very little room for "C" students, male or female.
It was not a problem until now because previously a female pilot made it through merit. She worked her way to get her wings. She was competent. Thanks to Obama/Biden, they believed that we do not have enough female pilots. This is where DEI comes in.
It's quite unfortunate because we have female pilots who got in before Obama/Biden Era and now we are questioning their competence.

I think it’s more a case of women getting promoted too quickly to fill the diversity quotas. They’re not given time in grade to develop better judgement.
What do you mean? Why women cops have no problem subduing a 200 pound criminal. I see them doing it on TV shows all the time. Hell, they don’t even muss up their hair. 😁
Women make excellent pilots when trained to the same standards. If you select a pilot trainee based on his or her sex you have automatically taken out 50% of the pilots to choose from and thus have lowered admission standards. I do not care who you choose so long as you choose the best from the entire field of potential candidates.
