This is in fact true- for year now whenever i’ve driven into NYChitty, which isn’t often, and park our SUV at a lot, we are always charged extra....this is not new
I thought we were supposed to buy electric vehicles to “save da earf”? shouldn’t the government be making it attractive to own one ?
I saw an interesting analysis of car sales by price. The most expensive cars, those over $130 are selling very well. Some of the “average” price cars, now $47,000 are selling at a moderate, reduced rate. The low-end cars, around twenty thousand, are not selling at all. The conclusion was that wealthy people are unaffected by the present economy. But people at the low end, who obviously need to buy transportation at the rate they bought it three years ago, simply aren’t. They can’t afford to buy even the cheapest cars. What I’m seeing in places like my local Walmart, is people are nursing along cars that were past their best by ten to fifteen years ago.
They’re trying to make it easier for thugs to destroy the Teslas, vandalize them or both.
Keep voting for hchul and her ilk ny- sheesh! About as blind as California. Do ny, and indeed the nation a huge favor and get vote out dems for about 20 years so that ny has a chance to recover and be the state it is meant to be!
Sure, other companies make EVs but anyone who is in the market for an EV is gonna get a Tesla because that's all they make so they're the best at it.
Case in point, Senator Mark Kelly bragging on trading in his Tesla for a gas-burning Chevy SUV. Sure, he could've bought one of the many models of EVs that Chevy has but he knows they suck, so he didn't.
Take them to court! Wait.... its NYC, never mind.
They say they are charging Teslas more because their batteries are heavier.
Makes sense, if Teslas are sinking into the concrete. /s
That was my first thought.
The left is punishing anyone who doesn’t toe the party line. As usual.
Problem for them is, far as I can determine, most Tesla owners are leftists.
And NYC will turn around and tell how much they support “green” initiatives.
