Thanks for that info. I wonder how they determine that mice get a,zheimers? I’ll havE tO ask a few other docs about it, see what they say- plus do a little more digging myself- a 50% increase is pretty large for something that for now is irreversible- gosh I hope they find a cure for it soon. Such an ugly ugly disease. We took care of a relative with it- sk sad to watch them deteriorate- one good thing was that in the beginning , when she had her mind still mostly she picked up a tract I had for someone else, read it, and accepted christ as savior. So we had that comfort later on when she started to show signs of the condition. It was ,ike night and day the change when she got saved too. So while it was sad, the a,zheimers I mean, it was also a time to rejoice in that regard.

Check to make sure you get enough natural sunlight or vitamin D with vitamin K2. Restless legs are often a symptom of vitamin D deficiency.

Yeah I don’t know what dose he was on, bit he said doc told him he could take 4, so maybe they were lower dose or soemthing. He claims it doesn’t help much, an judging by how tired he seems all the time, I beleive him.

Sometimes they only prescribe 25 or 50 mg trazodone when used as a sedative — that wouldn’t do much for me. My tablets are 100 mg.

As an off topic, I was gonna mention that there was a show on TV showing peol,e with bad amyloid buildup in the brains who never the less didn’t get dmpementia or alzheimers at all- they died witH heir minds intact even though they had the tangles for a long time. Not that this has anything g to do with connections to,drugs or anything, it didn’t mention if they took stuff like benadryl or not, but was interesting inthat for some reason they didn’t get alzheimers. Hopefully scientists can figure out why soon.

They score the mice on things like remembering the path through a maze. It isn’t alzheimers but reduced cognitive skill.

These work for me:

Boiron SleepCalm Sleep Aid for Deep, Relaxing, Restful Nighttime Sleep - Melatonin-Free and Non Habit-Forming - 60 Count (Pack of 2). Homeopathic remedy, drug free. Just melt a couple under your tongue.

I also use liquid melatonin in.a bottle with a dropper so I don’t have to drink water before bed.

Get both at AMZ. Cat and I usually sleep10 hours every night.

Sorry to keep you awake! Valerian definitely won’t “knock you out” like Benadryl at any dose — more of a sleep facilitator. But worth another try at 1-2 grams, hopefully as alcohol-based tincture. Mine is “Secrets of the Tribe Valerian Tincture Alcohol Extract, Valerian (Valeriana Officinalis) Dried Root Tincture Supplement (4 FL OZ)” from Amazon. 0.7 ml is about 333 mg equivalent so a full dropper (it’s long) is around a gram. And like I said my capsules are NOW brand and 500 mg each.

I also see “Baar Valerian Tincture (alcohol-based), 4 oz” (without the dropper) for half the price. I wonder if it’s the exact same stuff.

This is the brain function that my great-granddaughter doesn’t have. She is on a trial drug that is helping but this cut the budget stuff has affected them and some of the funding that the researchers need. The medicine is $20,000 a month. Many people are supporting them by having fundraisers, but the condition Batten’s Disease is terminal, many of them dying in their teens. My sweet one is 9 but is going blind and has already learned her braille alphabet. She has seizures and has a helper dog but she hasn’t learned yet how to read her body’s signals that mean a seizure is coming.

The amazing part is her parents are doing something right because she is happy, and energetic and is still riding the school bus to school. ♥️

People have no idea how important sleep is to our bodies and brains.

A good way to get on my Enemies List is to wake me up for no reason. ;)
