• How do you authenticate that an autopen signed document was autopen signed by the Autopen of the United Status (AOTUS)?
• How do you authenticate that a human signed document was actually signed by the senile President (SPOTUS)?
• There should be an official record of all Presidential signings with witnesses, if there is not one already.
• I wouldn't have a problem with using autopen as long as there is a signed document authorizing the use of autopen for the particular situation. For example, a president signs a list of the names of 1000 people receiving pardons. And then autopen is used on the individual pardons.
