EXPOSED 🚨 Department of Education is laundering money back to the Democrat Party

“This is why Democrats are losing their minds over Elon Musk. It's all about money”

Rep Harriet Hageman “The Federal Department of Education spends it as a budget of about $280 billion a year. Less than 25% goes to educating our students. So where does the other $220 billion go? It goes to a bureaucracy, it goes to a consultant, and that consultant then donates money BACK TO DEMOCRATS, and then it goes to a different consultant, and then it goes to an NGO. I mean, IT IS MONEY LAUNDERING and money churning at its absolute best.”

“Is the DOGE Program targeted at these bureaucrats?”

“Yes”

Yes, true and I saw it first hand - teachers with degrees with “nothing else to do” as far as a career, and yes, some of them hated the kids. They are a disgrace to the profession.

Standards were vastly lowered over my career, basic testing of reading and writing skills for teachers eliminated, tests in one’s specific field, watered down completely b/c “too many minorities” were failing. By the time I left, four years ago, the latest crop of teachers were woefully inadequate - well versed in DEI ideology, lacking skills to either teach or understand their own field (secondary education) - one older retiring teacher told me “not a one of them is worth a damn.”

I wouldn’t go into teaching now and have discouraged the next generation of family from doing so. I am the last of a long line of educators all the way up to university level.

Remember how we used to see this all the time here on Free Republic?

Sad. That was during a time when some people still existed who thought that might be the case that some elements of the Democrat Party WERE still Americans.

Since Zell Miller left the Democrat Party and retired (turning out the lights as he left) we have been disabused of the notion that there are any Democrats out there who could be considered as Americans in any sense of the word.

As much as I believe the Democrats are the criminals we always knew they were, there is bound to be some equally corrupt R’s in this cesspool and they also need to be exposed.

DOE working hand-in-glove with the American Federation of Teachers, the largest national public-employee labor union, with their hands in everyone's pockets.

In 2024 the AFT came to town in Tampa FL and rolled over Governor DeSantis, the Hillsborough County Commission, and the Hillsborough County School Board, by grabbing hold of the election day ballot and ramming through a Referendum to increase property taxes on homeowners (770,000 of them) to cover pay increases for 15,160 county public employee school teachers of $6,000 per year effective for 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028.

This for a contractual public school work year which in Hillsborough County spans only 10 months, and in addition to eight weeks of vacation, provides for dozens of fully-paid off-days and "bad weather" days which effectively reduces school attendance to a four-day week.

The Referendum passed, in large part because it was packaged to voters (unfamiliar with how millage rates translate into increased tax dollars) as being "For The Children". Total new taxes to be collected: Over $419 Million.

This money is exclusively for increased teachers pay which in Hillsborough already averages $45-$75K annually for any teacher with even minimum tenure, far above the median income level for county non-government-employed resident homeowners.

This in a county where, according to U.S. News & World Report's annual National Student Performance survey, only 41% of students score at or above the minimum standard for reading and math comprehension. Which means almost 60% of them can't solve math problems--and cannot read.

County public employees (which includes teachers) already have iron-clad local government employment guarantees. They are basically fire-proof, even without union representation. With it, the teachers are the largest and most protected and least effective left-wing, Democrat-voting special interest group of public employees in America today.

The Democrat Party should be banned from politics , it’s nothing but a criminal organization

The Republicans have their fingers in the pie, too.

That's why they stay silent and look the other way.

JimRob made this banner for me way back when at FR. I hardly ever post it anymore because of just what your screen name says: the Dem Party is a treasonous enterprise!

“Elon needs a bullet proof bubble to continue.”

Or...how about one of them Biden “preventative pardons” for all things DOGE-related for him and the DOGE crew? Only this time, President Trump will actually personally sign it in front of the press.

Every single department needs to be downsized 90% or eliminated altogether.

This teacher will tell the opposite, sort of. Parents should visit the dumpsters to get brand new school supplies purchased by other parents. If your room gets moved, somehow everything ends up in the dumpsters but funds will be available to purchase new ones (well, that was done by new to us teachers, “oh, sorry, those weren’t for our class so we didn’t know.” Lying little witches.). Heck, the budget magically found ways to increase the building trades to build the principal a new house since he was ok with the same counter tops and paint, etc. the school uses and cleans his suits, etc. We didn’t have new textbooks the same year as his house was being built but the state auditors couldn’t figure out why.

The copy room is filled with enough wasted paper to start a new forest. Custodians do a good job of cleaning the schools but are lined up at lunch time constantly emptying garbage cans from tossed out trays that walk from the lunch line straight to the garbage cans without being touched. Teachers have 17 students AND an aide or six. The troubled kids have their own unarmed security aides instead of sending them to the alternative school for everyone’s safety. There are aides here, there and everywhere but they somehow can’t hire decent teachers or principals. Often, students have to teach themselves. Why do principals always have to be ex-coaches and bring their attitudes?

This is why property taxes are $25,000 a year (not a typo) for dinky 1500 sq foot 1960s homes.
