What’s it like there? I guess I think of the shows on TV that show that some parts are very poor.

For all I know, there could be very wealthy parts too.
That’s pretty accurate. Lots of debris in yards. People living in houses that look abandoned. Still quite a bit of logging going on. Real estate is really cheap so the cost of living is very low. One of the reasons for the poverty is so many people here are on The Disability.
Low cost of living, very low crime rate, beautiful views, people are very friendly are the reason I moved here. Great place to retire.
