In general....
Boomers were not latch key kids.
That was Gen-X.
Gen-X was not raised by Boomers. They were raised by Depression and War Babies.
Boomers raised the Millennials.
Gen-X raised Gen-Z.
There is some cross over of course but most people seem to think everyone born before 1990 was a Boomer.
They were not.

The tail end is debatably 1959. Period.

There are lap-overs, to be sure, since WAR BABIES often get mistakenly clumped in with SILENTS, and early Boomers ( those born in 1947-49 ) absolutely DID raise Gen Xers!
And Gen X starts in 1967, so some War Babies raised late Boomers.
