I've been to Pompeii but not Herculaneum. Visited Pompeii on a hot sunny day in July and got the worst sunburn I've ever had in my life. But it was a great experience nevertheless. I would love to see Herculaneum...on a cloudy day in March or October.

I went to a Pompeii exhibit at the Reagan library quite a few years ago. I was absolutely stunned by the quality of the glassware, jewelry and other items. I would love to visit those areas.

Yesterday I saw a YT vid, recorded in some February past, a walking tour of Pompeii and/or Herculaneum with no one around because of the time of year. :^) Can’t find it now.
