He said, We will wake up one morning and Illinois will have palm trees. Climate change don't ya know.
I just walked away...
It’s called summer. People should expect it to be hot in the summer.
We used to know that fact and didn’t need a weather person tearing their hair out while standing on a hot sidewalk and screaming “It is hot outside!”.
Man isn't causing global warming. But the Modern Warm Period is nothing new. In the past we've seen warming (such as the Medieval Warm Period) make some plants grow well in places they had trouble growing in during the cooling periods.
Of course, only the left can somehow make higher crop yields during warming be seen as some kind of bad thing.
Excessive was a strange choice of words anyway.
The dropping of “windchill” makes sense also since it is meaningless to most people if the wind isn’t blowing on them and them without windproof clothing, or in the car, house or building, or anything else that blocks wind.
“Cold weather spells that pose serious risks can now trigger three possible advisories: a Cold Weather Advisory, an Extreme Cold Watch, or an Extreme Cold Warning. The new language will allow the NWS to communicate that cold is dangerous with or without wind.”
Darn, I was really looking forward to them hiring extra people to name the heat events like they now do every storm and fire. /s
Next up...
GlowBull Climate Change Watch (it’s imminent), and GlowBull Climate Change Warning (it’s HERE!)
No more maps that are entirely red and yellow?
Man, I might start believing like things are not about to end in a global climate change disaster. That maybe it gets hot in Texas every year.
