‘ I take it you’re not normal?’
I have no idea what that even is in a practical sense. I’ve only seen ‘normal’ used to ridicule people who weren’t just like them.
The thread is about normal as reflected in The Brady Bunch.
A tv show. Actors.
The father was gay and died from hiv. The mother was sleeping with the step son. The oldest daughter was selling her body for drugs.
And we’re supposed to look back on fictional television shows and wistfully look back at the’ normal’ times?
You’re perpetuating a fantasy. Looking back at when you were happier, because you didn’t see the world as it was/is.
Grow up.
It’s TV show. The episode shows that people didn’t go apesiht over measles before hypochondria became fashionable.
