We haven’t figured out a way to cast that from our Linux OS computer to the TV.

Hook your computer up to the TV. MY monitor is a 36” ROKU tv. I could just as easily hook it up to my big screen. I prefer to sit in my office chair compared to a couch or a recliner so it works ok for me.
