Does anyone use Sling TV Service?

We’ve encountered a few services that won’t accept VOIP for a contact number. Usually, if we get in touch with them and explain that we just don’t use cell phones for any business, they’ll accept the VOIP number.

Once in a while we do, begrudgingly, have to give a cell phone number; but not often.

Yeah. Even though it’s free, we forget we have it because it’s not user friendly.

It could be good for your needs. I only have two things I suscribe to on Roku. I also have Prime video.

I use Amazon a lot because it is great to have deliveries on items I need at home because of health issues. Particulary in winter months.

I kept Sling Blue for 4 years. So, I was okay with it. I was just not using what I was paying for.

We use Amazon a lot, too. During Covid we found out how easy it is to buy a lot of routine household stuff and be free of having to cart it home.

We watch a lot of movies on ‘Prime’, because so many are free with the subscription, and we never see movies in the theater; so even when we have to rent something, it’s a good deal.

Sounds just like me. I have no help hauling stuff in so home delivery is great for me.

At times, I even have groceries delivered. At least bulk items anyway.

I want to thank, again, everyone who responded to this thread re: Sling TV.

We decided to test it out; it works fine with our system, and has everything we wanted from it plus a lot more.

They no longer have the ‘free trial’ as of this month, but they give you half-off for the first month, so you can try it for a month for just $23.

I’m happy with it and will keep it. Thanks again.

Hulu and Fubo often offer discounts as well.

I used every free offer and discount I could find before I decided on a live TV streaming service.

Sling has Freestream. I found this out when I quit the paid Sling tv and clicked on the app icon in my Roku one day.
