If Charles has converted to Islam, doesn’t that make him ineligible to be king?
Incidentally, that law was to prevent a Roman Catholic king a long time ago. But a law passed by the parliament can be repealed. Or for that matter, the C of E might declare itself Muslim.
Until such time, Charles will keep it a secret.

Strictly speaking, I believe the law only says that the King can’t be a Catholic. It doesn’t say he has to be a believing Anglican.
At his coronation Charles swore an oath to be ‘Defender of the Faith’.
All honest analysis concludes that to mean the CHRISTIAN Church of England.
