Conservatives are ramping up their calls for Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) to be held legally accountable for his role in pushing a now well-debunked claim that President Donald Trump was a dupe for Russian President Vladimir Putin during his first term.
The so-called “Russian collusion” narrative, which Schiff and many others in the media pushed for years during Trump’s first term, was the subject of multiple investigations by the House and by independent prosecutors, including John Durham, a former U.S. attorney, and Robert Mueller, a former FBI director.

Schiff clearly leaked secret information to the press. This is where he is most vulnerable. Too bad he wasn’t under oath when he lied. He could get a 1000 years for the number of lies he told.
Obstruction of Justice “tolls” any statute of limitations.
What that means if that you don’t get rewarded for hiding evidence—the period of time you did that just gets added to the normal statute of limitations.

If they can work treason into the charges, there’s no Statute.
Before charges and trials are looming for any of these people, the new AG needs to find loopholes so that the criminals are not tried in DC courts. If they’re tried in DC, the Prosecution will lose every time.
(And who is the new AG? Because it’s certainly not Bondi.)
“His last name should become a term....Oh no, He ‘Schiffed’ it.”
Good idea to “verb” him. Lewinsky him.
He had said on the house floor that he had personally seen the Russia collusion evidence. More than once.
“History” yes, but we need strong deterrents against such future coups. Unless some of them go to prison, it will continue.
Good point.
Kash has said numerous times that wants to see justice done with Schiff.
Was Hillary, Comey, McCabe, and the entire rest of that crew ever charged with anything. Nope. Well I sure don’ expect Schiff to be charged either. Politicians are exempt for prosecution. Even under Trump.
Pam Bondi.
Amy Coney Barrett

Good one! She seems to have gone into hiding after her epic credibility destroying debacle.

100% true. I think accountability and deterrents are going to fall far short of our expectations. I’m just not sensing any fervor or intensity to do it. Just lots of vague rhetoric. JMHO
“Politicians are exempt for prosecution.”

DC doesn’t punish DC. The Swamp protects its own. That’s why there’s no such thing as accountability and likely never will be.
Schifff, Nadler, Binder Girl, they all should be charged with lying perjury and treason. But most of all Joseph Robinette Biden needs to be charged if for no other reason than we can force them to acknowledge his incompetence to stand trial due to mental defect.
“preemptively pardoned” Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.)
Yes, he needs to be prosecuted.
In somewhat related information, President Trump signed an executive order suspending the security clearances for employees at Perkins Coie — which played a key role in the Russia hoax.
“This is an absolute honor to sign.”
Now THIS is something I’ve been waiting for. Perkins Coie is the old law firm of Marc Elias. And, at one point the FBI had an office in their firm.
And interviewed under oath. Thanks to the pardon he no longer has 5th Amendment protection
Schiff intentionally read a doctored transcript into the record. That’s evidence tampering.
