On a night of political theater perhaps not seen in U.S. history, with Democrats protesting President Donald Trump’s primetime address to Congress, several members walking out, shouting at the president, and Texas Democrat Al Green being removed from the chamber, actress Roseanne Barr said the spectacle marks an end for the Democrats.
“I take back when I said USAID was the final nail in the Democrat coffin – tonight was,” the Roseanne star said of the night and of the now near defunct U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Democrat rancor kicked off as President Trump was counting his election and how he won the popular vote. Republicans shouted down Democrats by chanting “USA!”
Rep. Green continued to scream at Trump, ignoring Speaker Johnson’s warnings to return to his seat. Eventually Green was escorted from the chamber, to ruckus applause.
Republicans quickly began chanting “na na na, hey hey hey, good-bye!”

That is the smartest think Barr as said in years.
She should be right, but I think its wishful thinking.
Barr is one of us. I think you might be mistaking her for Rosie ODonnell.
Fitting for a HS basketball game, Dems always bring everything to the lowest denominator.
Apparently you don’t watch her podcast. She’s a very intelligent woman even though a bit crude at times (which she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her...lol).
She must have quit doing drugs.
Yep, she is right on.
Nail in the Demoncrap Coffin, next comes the stake through the heart.
Oh yea! Sowwy. Two Rosies. Yea it’s O’donnell that is nuts
Oh no. They have a bucket of nails left.
I confused her for O’donnell
I think the little auction-paddle signs were the icing on the cake.
I, too, get them confused. It's how I recognized you might be, as well.
I believe they kicked her off her own tv show when she told the truth about Susan Rice. She has a grudge to settle. I hope she nails them good.
Rosie O’Donnell is the one we are always making fun of by putting her face on Kalid Sheik Mohammed’s body isn’t it?
their TDS paddles
Yep
Republicans keep saying stuff like this but it’s politically short-sighted.
Many people are fickle creatures.
The hardcore democrats and republicans aren’t going to change, but Trump won over the rest of the populace because of two things; The unfair crusade against him by judges and AGs who had no cases and no business turning him into a martyr, and because he had a fraudulent puppet of a sitting president and people realized that he wasn’t the one who was really running the country.
Things can change, and they almost always do.
These tariffs are good for the country (in my opinion) in the long run, but it’s going to hurt for a while in more inflation. Not everyone is going to think it’s worth it that we make more of our own steel and aluminum now, or that we don’t import all of our semiconductors when cars top 100k and Walmart’s cheapest pair of blue jeans is $60. They didn’t pay attention in macroeconomics lessons. Some old guy waving a cane at a presidential address doesn’t register on their richter scale 3 years later.
My thoughts exactly....the final nail. Actually...every time I think that the dem party could go no lower...they do some baffling-bizzaro thing to dig deeper. But even now they are going to get devastated when mid-terms happen. I think that they will be so irrelevant as to not exist entirely.
A night at Trump’s Address. A night of freaks and demons.
Me three. Drives me crazy that I forget and confuse them. Roseanne Barr deserves better from me.
Not everyone is going to think it’s worth it that we make more of our own steel and aluminum now
The downstream industries that rely on metal for production and had to lay off workers, probably not.
