1. Is this a fresh $100 billion or an additional $35 billion atop the original pledge?

2. How much of a CHIPS Act grant will Taiwan Semi receive?

Bringing THIS kind of manufacturing is a GREAT thing.

I would also like to see us bring back the ability to make power transformers. I believe all are currently made in China. An EMP would wipe them out with no ability to replace them in sight. No power? Bad thing.

I question whether any of the additional investment will be paid for by grants from Biden’s CHIPS Act.
