I didn't know what they were until two weeks ago when I got them as a gift. I looked them up and found what an incredible nutrient source they were. I immediately ordered two plants.
If you compare nutrient values to them, blueberries are a perfect match

Sounds good. I'll have to look up if they can grow in west Michigan. Although we have not had luck with blueberries, just not enough sun or space. We do have a nice stand of about 4 feet of red raspberries and they bear pretty good, enough for us. Snapped a pic of one of the bags. If they had more than 2, I would have bought them. I had read something a couple of years ago about how good they are for us. I leave a bag out and if I crave a evening snack I'll get a small handful.

Blueberries you can eat until the bears come home! (Looking for their stolen blueberries!)
Aronia berries. (Which I have.) Good antioxident values, but really astringent. Choose blueberries!
