Zelensky Shows the World He is no Diplomat

ANSWER: Zelensky is believing his own BS, and the press loves him because of the Neocon propaganda. To refuse a cease-fire, claiming you need a security deal first, was not just BS, but it was based on the fact that the EU claims they are behind him, and he thought the press was so negative about Trump that he would win before the cameras.

He has no regard for the lives of the Ukrainian people. I was told that he was coming only to try to make Trump the bad guy with no intention of actually creating any peace deal. The Ukrainian people who cannot see through this are fools, and our computer warns Ukraine will not exit. I have never seen our computer go flat-line on forecasting a country as it has on Ukraine.

The computer forecast the failure of this meeting. The problem is that the EU needs war with Russia because their economy is collapsing from COVID, Climate Change NET ZERO, and then sanctions on Russia. The EU is very anti-Trump. They have spent months demonizing him, reporting that there is no way he would be elected.

Every issue of the Economist is nothing but hatred of Trump. The European press has set the tone and encouraged the split with the United States. They have also demonized Putin so much that it is now impossible for the EU to shake hands with Putin.

The EU does not want to negotiate with Trump on anything. They hate Trump just as the AfD or the politicians they denied the election in Romania because there, too, was an anti-war sentiment. They hate Hungary for not obeying their decrees. Yet, not a single EU commissioner stands for election. They are all appointed by other politicians, so the European people have no democratic right to vote for what they are saying.

The Neocons have complete control of the EU, and they will destroy Europe, for they are incapable of ever winning a single war. Europe has this vision that if they conquer Russia and grab the $75 trillion in natural resources, they will restore Europe to the glory days of the Roman Empire. America will then be reduced to this upstart subservient to Europe. The arrogance is incredible. Macron and the head of NATO spoke to Zelensky after he was told to get out and said the EU is behind you.

As Europe cheers and pounds its chest that it can take down Russia without the USA and that America is now the enemy, for the first time, 36% of Americans do not look at Europe favorably. With everyone telling Zelensky he is some hero. He pretends he is always wearing military garb to psychologically portray Ukraine is at war. Zelensky cares nothing about the Ukrainian people, or he would take a cease-fire and sign the mineral deal. That deal would bring American companies into Ukraine for strategic purposes, and Putin would not invade, for there would be no NATO troops pretending to be peacekeepers. Zelensky has just made our computer’s forecast correct. Ukraine will not exist as a country after 2027.

I wonder if Trump will invoke the National Security Act(NSA) to stop sending weapons to Ukraine. Yes, congress can allocate the funds for weapons, but the President can use the NSA to stop the weapons transfer. Ukraine can not win this war even with US weapons, so Ukraine should sue for a peace deal. No EU & NATO membership for it.
The USA has attacked and blockade countries that threatened it like Cuba, Grenada and Nicaragua. Russia has the same rights as we do.

Zelenskyy is right to oppose the ceasefire idea. Post-ceasefire, Ukraine’s field forces would melt away quickly, and be near impossible to reconstitute quickly enough. Russia could rearm and position themselves for great advantage, and use that to drag out or alter peace negotiations once the pressure is off. An immediate ceasefire is appealing morally, but disasterous strategically. Might as well surrender now and save the suffering.

This display only helps Democrats who will use it to tar Trump as the man who lost Ukraine. All the murders, and killings by Russian Troops, real and imagined, will be blamed on Donald Trump and JD Vance. This is set to win back the House and Senate in two years. No one really cares about the Ukraine People and their plight. No, not even Zelenskyy himself.

Trump is a deal maker.

He clearly threw his hands up and walked away from the table.

The NEXT move is the Euroweenies.

They have a Zelensky problem.

And they have to either put him in the kennel or let him run loose.

Being who they are they will think they can find a middle ground with the con man.

I’d say it is 50/50 Trump pulls military aid.

It is the Euroweenies move.

My understanding is that the minerals deal was so that there would be US skin in Ukraine - like real US people there - to act as a deterrent against Russia invading. Russia would not accept NATO “peacekeepers” (for good reason), and the US GOVERNMENT involvement in Ukraine has only been for corrupt, nefarious purposes. But the minerals deal would get a BUSINESS interest in Ukraine and put US non-politicians there - a genuinely neutral force which could be trusted by both Ukraine and Russia.

But Zelensky doesn’t want a neutral influence there. He wants the US to be on Ukraine’s side, period. And that doesn’t work. You can’t ask the peacemaker to favor one side over the other.

Trump noted that Zelensky had a lot of hatred for Putin, which he said was understandable. But, he said, you have to realize that Putin also doesn’t think so highly of you either, Zelensky. And I have to listen to you both and bring you both to the table.

A deal to put US businessmen in Ukraine rather than US soldiers is as close as we can come to a neutral security arrangement for BOTH sides. If that’s not enough for Zelensky, there simply can’t be any peacemakers because Zelensky won’t allow it. He INSISTS on a stacked deck in his favor.

And Trump called him out for it. He is not ready to do what it takes to make peace.

The minerals deal was to counteract that. Put US businessmen there right away as a neutral deterrent in the area and a reminder that there is now US skin - not just money - in the game.

And actually, maybe Zelensky needs to realize that his only other option is surrender. He only has so many bodies left, to put in harm’s way. Without US drones and weapons he doesn’t stand a chance. He just pissed on his best chance for Ukraine to come out of this with ANYTHING.

I think Trump has rightly assessed that Zelensky has not yet comprehended and accepted the position he’s in, and will not be willing to do what makes for peace until he realizes he has no other options.

This is set to win back the House and Senate in two years.

Trump has NO coat tails.

Read the electoral map of the last election.

How could Trump win so many counties and the Republican wing of the uniparty end up with less than a handful majority in the House?

Voters trusted Trump to do what he said he would do and they had NO trust or respect for the uniparty congressional candidates.

Candidates in the house were timid little mice trying to finesse their support of Trump instead of going the FULL America First Trump.

NEVER forget there is only one party in America and Trump is not a member at least a welcome one.

The congressional Republican Party is disconnected from Trump and America First.

If congressional candidates genuinely ran on America First, there would be a majority in the house that reflected Trump majorities in the electoral college and popular vote.

Congressional candidates are pretty much all the same, they put themselves first not America.

Voters aren't stupid.

Trump won because he genuinely puts America first and they trust him.

I'm not sure I can name five members of congress that even come close to having the trust I put in Trump.

Don't be hand wringing.

Focus on Trump.

Probably the ONLY hope of maintaining the House in the midterms is some passage of election reform where there is real voter ID and this mail in nonsense is ended.

The thing is, there might be some American businessmen in Kiev and Lvov, etc., probably more than than there are right now (sniffing after reconstruction contracts), but there won’t be all these big American mining operations because those deposits cannot be profitably extracted and processed.

There have been American businessmen in Ukraine since 1991. And yes, they’ve gone along with and profit from the corruption. It’s not just the politicians.

Anyway, it’s not the Russians we need to worry so much as the Ukrainians:

https://freerepublic.com/focus/news/4301211/posts?page=38#38

It’s quite possible the Ukrainians might goad the Russians into retaliating as happened in February 2022*. Then we would have to worry about both.

The only affordable, doable thing would be to have OSCE (and perhaps also UN) monitors as before. These unarmed monitors could not stop attacks, only document them, of course.

Zelensky and the insane Europeans want us to give security guarantees so the Brits and French can send their pitifully meager troops into the fray, and draw us into a hot war with Russia. They all know they can’t take on Russia without us.

*Everyone is so fixated on the NATO thing, but that is not the prumary reason the Russians invaded when they did and as they did three years ago. In March of 2021, Zelensky repudiated Minsk and declared that they would take the LDNR back by force. In the weeks prior to the invasion, there was a huge increase in the shelling of the LDNR by Ukrainian forces (as documented by OSCE) and a buildup of Ukrainian forces as well. That was the trigger.
