LOS ANGELES, California — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has received 270,000 applications from purported homeowners in the recent L.A. fires — though only abut 13,000 homes were destroyed.
'note: For some reason, Newsom can't hide the fact that CA covers billions of dollars in medical care for illegals right now, so he's just slow walking requests now (3.44 Billion loan plus another 2.8 Billion). I vaguely remember thinking he was going to have a harder time concealing the use of federal funds now, but the details escape me. I know he says CA's General Fund covers them, but others have pointed out he's laundering federal money into the General Fund. Here's a link to some shady impressions given off by Newsom's assurance that Biden would pay 100% of the wildfire costs in LA for the next 180 days.
