It was 100 times to high, so dividing by 100 to make it right, is the same as subtracting 2 from the exponent. 10² is 100, so 10^-2 is dividing by 100.

P is the 2nd line from the bottom. I can't read the before and after exponents.

t is the bottom line, it was too high by a factor of 10, so subtracting 1 from the exponent is the same as dividing by 10 to fix this.
