Meet the zoomers or Generation Z. Born between 1997 and 2012, zoomers are shaking things up at work — and in all the wrong ways according to baby boomers, Gen Xers, and millennials.

Here are 14 reasons bosses complain that Gen Z is the worst generation to manage and the reality of what Gen Z has to offer.

My husband employs about 40 Gen-Z age kids, and we have several more who attend a Bible study we host. They are outstanding kids as a whole. I do not see the entitlement attitude I saw from many millennials, really down to earth, and hard working.

I know there are always some bad apples out there, but this generation is decent. I have read they lean conservative, and went majorly for Trump.

Our 24 year old Gen Z'er is project leader on a million dollar automation project using lasers and robots.

Please tell me it’s not named Skynet.

The 45-60 thing is closely related to the excessive cost of health care - remove legal requirements for employers to provide it and the hiring landscape would brighten up considerably.

I’ve had much more trouble with Millennial employees and their Obama-Utopian world views than with Gen Z - but one thing Gen Z has trouble with is understanding the value of longevity. Six months is an eternity to them, and they can’t wait to leave and find something more exciting to do - but they aren’t building track records that are going to help them when the great opportunity comes their way. And those shiny new things usually don’t work out for them…

No, it's not.

It's for a manufacturer of things that are used by a large number of other manufacturers.

Look, I no longer work with young people so I offer no comment, as my experiences are becoming out-of-date.

However, your comment indicating a certain impatience on the part of the Gen Zers if the project is not fast and exciting does resonate as a likely dynamic in a workplace populated by various age groups. Resonate in a non-helpful way.

My first jobs, I did whatever I was told. Impatience or any sort of dissatisfaction never entered my mind.

I work daily with 18 - 35 year olds. The civilian leadership has too many “this is how we did it back it the day” older farts...

I’m happy with the quality of our young folks...
