An Italian holidaymaker hurled a tirade of abuse at police who dragged him out of the ocean after he was caught snorkelling in protected waters.
The tourist and his wife were paddling in a coral conservation zone off the coast of Krabi, southern Thailand, on February 21 when they were stopped by marine police.
Officers politely explained that swimming in the area was 'prohibited' and asked the couple to board their speedboat to be taken back to the nearby beach.
But the husband refused and instead launched into a profanity-filled rant that saw him brand the officers 'crazy' and vow that this was his 'last time in f***ing Thailand'.
Shocking video of the encounter shows the hot-headed tourist completely meltdown, yelling and cursing at police, as they drag him and his wife onto the vessel.
Once onboard the couple 'lost their minds', according to police, who claim they said 'they didn't care about our rules' and' argued how they 'paid good money for snorkelling so they should be able to do what they wanted'.
The tourist's embarrassing tirade is the latest in a string of clashes between holidaymakers and locals, which officials say have increased since the Thai government implemented a visa-free scheme last year.
Angry locals claim the scheme, which aims to boost revenue following the barren pandemic years, has attracted crowds of 'low-quality' visitors.

Some people don’t understand the concept that when traveling to a foreign country they are a guest and should behave like one.
Often a night or two, at the hospitality of the local police station, puts people on better behaviour.

Hey, acting like this is par for the course for democrats. Look what’s going on today - Trumps been in office a month and already they are screeching like adult babies, getting their activist judges to issue BS judgements “Waaaaah! We don’t WANT to save the taxpayers money! Waaaaah! Waaaaah! We want what WE want!!” They were perfectly fine with Biden arming the Taliban, sending Iran, Hamas money, opening the border to drug gangs, foreign military, terrorists, but saving the taxpayers money? The cliche is the “Ugly American”. But some of the loudest and most obnoxious tourists I’ve seen were Europeans. Try quietly contemplating a museum artifact when a group of Germans stroll by.
best not go beyond markers for areas closed for Coral Rejuvenation!! I had visions of Midnight Express how hard they came at us when we tried to get into Maya Bay on Phi Phi Lee a few years back when it was closed.

When I was in Thailand many years ago, I watched some drunk guy get in a fight with the police, it didn’t end well for him. 4 of them beat him with night sticks all the way to the police car.
