Yup. Working in metal was an acquired skill set, just as working with stones was for a very, very long time. As Sheik Yamani said in an old interview, the Stone Age didn’t end because people ran out of stones.

Yes, that was it. I remembered it was on a show I saw it, but couldn’t remember name of show lol. Anyways, it is a pretty cool obelisk that Nas stood for a long time without rusting significantly

I think some care too much about the insignificant. There is nothing special about dead bodies long turned to dust. IMHO

Not many of those that hit the earth are metal and stay together enough to be of use. There is an area in south Georgia where fairly large ones are plowed-up in large numbers. A farmer gave my wife a 150 pounder, which she put in her flower garden in the front yard.
They can cause considerable damage to plows.

If you actually have a 150 pound meteorite fragment it is worth a chunk of chance. A 22 pound one went for $100,000.

That farmer had a stack of them. He said, “Someone told me they are valuable. Help yourself”.

Might be worth finding out if it actually is a meteor.
Even small ones are worth a chunk.

I tried millions of different ways to get this photo to display, but nothing worked:

It clearly doesn't weigh 150 pounds, but tell that to my back. There are two in that photo. A magnet will stick to them.

I can not get it to post either but I took a look at it. Could be! It is of a size that would be worth something.
And LOL on the weight. I know what you mean, picked up the dog the other day to help her on to the vet table, she is not able to jump any more, and I swear that dog is now made of pure lead.
