The mathematical and scientific possibility of that is near zero. MMR historically is 90+ percent effective against infection and nearly 100% against hospitalization so no that child almost assuredly was unvaccinated.
This article doesn’t mention it but other articles I have seen mention that the child was unvaccinated.
