Really.
So we pay billions of dollars so kids can be forced sit in rooms and not to talk to each other? And that is "socialization".
I give up.
This young lady was a gold mine for the no education district. Which is why they throw a toddle worthy fit every time parents try to pull their special needs children out of the public warehousing system.
In many states the district will take you to court for daring to remove your child from public education after you see it is not working. You will have CPS and every agency under the sun landing on your back.
That is one reason why the “grandmother” ploy I discussed in an earlier post is very popular.
The locals who have lived in the area a while know the score.
It is a crying shame that we have made American citizens into lawbreakers just to try to get a moderate to low level of education for their children. Education that all of us are paying for.
Our former neighbors youngest daughter was not doing very well at her public school and so her parents decided to pull her out and enroll her in a private school. They had no idea the storm that this one small attempt to give their daughter a normal life would cause to descend on their house.
Because their daughter was disabled the public school got many dollars for sitting her in the corner and ignoring her and they were mighty peeved to lose that money.
It took almost 8 years to get the school district and the CPS and all the other groups that came down on them to back off.
And they were not even homeschooling her. The private school they enrolled her in was known state wide as one of the best schools around.
People have no idea how messed up the system is.
Sorry Teddy. No one except me paid for my kids’ school. I think public school is a rip off & should be returned to the states & communities who should decide what they want to pay for.
She also got what her parents permitted. Ultimately, this is the parents' fault.
Unbelievable?
This is the public school system they’re talking about here.
I find it fully believable and am actually surprised we don’t hear of more reports like this.
And if the school held her accountable and held her back, they’d be in trouble, too.
And just where were the parents in all this? They didn’t know? I don’t believe that either.
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
