I’m familiar with that. It’s relatively rare, caused by a needle ligament that goes from under the ear to toward the hyoid bone.
I have a 3d rendering of it so that when I wave it around to Doctors they can get a clue as to why it could cause so many problems. It is crushing my Internal Jugular Vein at the C1 area. Also very likely causing carotid artery problems when I turn my head.
My version is the rarer than the “typical” rare syndrome.
A physical therapist theorized that the reason they find it in so many whiplash patients is that when there is an injury the brain and body send help to the area. I can’t remember the rest of what he said but it made sense as to why there might be so much calcification in that area.

Lots of B12 in beer. I’ve got it covered.
There are a ton of things (including just getting old) that can interfere with oral B12 absorption.
I think the answer is: try pills, then get tested periodically. If too low, switch to shots.
We got lots of eggs!..............
