This is the nasty truth. “Wellness” by programs drive up benefit costs.
I got 5 requests for colon swab last year. So I gave into my local clinic while seeing my doctor on other business. I got sent a swab kit. Plus three more requests and these were all after I done gave one test. Obviously they don't coordinate. This week (Monday) I got a package from my insurance which I did not ask for nor expect. No list of contents or explanation. it had socks, tube of hand lotion, small blanket. They also call once a year and want to send someone over to my house and look it over for hazards. They always say "It's FREE!!". No, it's not. My premiums pay for this unwanted crap.
