Thanks Red Badger, nice twofer!
[snip] The entrance to the tomb was actually located three years ago... after unearthing alabaster vessels bearing inscriptions with Thutmose II's name on them – along with the label of "deceased king" – researchers realized that a relic previously known as tomb C4 was in fact the Pharaoh's eternal container. Unfortunately, the tomb was extensively damaged by an ancient flood and many of the grave goods appear to have been removed at the time of the deluge, yet sections of the funerary book of Imydwat were identified on pieces of mortar within the tomb. Dang!
I’ve spent many a sleepless night, over my 91.3 years, wondering what happened to good old Thutmose...

SNL at 50 doesn’t have the guts to do Steve Martin’s King Tut skit again from ‘78. It’s comedy gold.

This was probably the pharoah with whom Moses had dealings. If they’d tell the truth, it would probably come out.

He seems nice...
The time period in which he reigned (ruling from roughly 1485 BC to 1479 BC) would seem to make him at least a possible candidate for the pharoah who clashed with Moses. Most scholars date the Exodus from about 1400 to 1200 BC.

That’s Thutmose II and, unless he reassigned his gender (as if that were possible), Thutmose was a he.
