In the manosphere the definition of alpha is very clear.
It is a man who takes care of himself first and does not sacrifice himself to society (the Karenocracy) because society tells them he should do so.
As to the jungle—guess what—young men live in one.
Young men who do not recognize that get stomped on in a hurry.
Older men who have been successful then have the luxury of helping others if they choose to do so.
Older men who tell young men they should sacrifice themselves for others are not alphas or betas—they are just jerks.
……. Older men who tell young men they should sacrifice themselves for others are not alphas or betas—they are just jerks. …….
There was a man, sometime back, a very powerful man whose example is still felt very widely today, whose example was self-sacrifice, to the point of nails through hands. Some would say that His example, celebrated in art and thought, is what sets Western civilization apart. Some have said He was a sap. What do you think?
In the manosphere, any man can become an alpha male by becoming more selfish? That's a cargo cult idea that won't land any new cargo. The manosphere isn't an authority of which men qualify as alpha males. Outside of advising 80% men not to mate with 80% of women, the manosphere isn't much help. The manosphere is going extinct right alongside the femnosphere.
