Our son-in-law said at Christmas this year, that Boomers are ALL full of such musical trivia. He’s not wrong. We all read vinyl albums covers and sleeves from one end to the other. While the music played. We were discussing Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young at the time.

At my urging, daughter and SIL bought the vinyl “Live at the Fillmore East” for my husband. This was their first live album after performing at Woodstock. It’s very good, but raw. Not cleaned up like modern pressings. That what I love about it.

When we were in High School we spent hours arguing over who was the better guitarist, drummer etc.

Everybody knew everyone else’s favorite band, it was a part of your identity.

Of course I had the Live at Fillmore East album too.   When it came out I got the two CD set.   I was born in '53.   Just a hint, my Daughter is named Melissa, and she married a rolling stone, well actually a guy named Stone.
