Sorry, I don’t see any comparison at all between what Jesus did in the Temple, and what Trump and Musk are doing in the Federal Government.
Some have noted that Marxism is a Christian heresy in the extreme. It has an all encompassing totalitarian nature which places it in the religious realm. It also has a utopian heaven like ultimate goal where man is perfected and government will eventually disappear.
:)
The reality of Marxism is that it is based on the premise that all of human history is defined by class conflict, and when one conflict is exhausted, a. Ew one immediately emerges to take its place. The reality is that Marxism has no idea whatsoever of how to get to any Utopia , free of conflict, because the entire movement is based on endless skeins of hate, none of which is based in principle, because there is no principle; there is only hate and the will to power. While Marx did dangle a Utopian and view in front of the useful idiots, he never had any desire, intention, or means of arriving at it. It is a system whose engine is brutal primitive rage, whose world view is meaninglessness, and whose inevitable result can only be annihilation and despair. Pretty F’in’ stupid if ya ask me.
Yep to me it’s the exact opposite of Christianity. Islam can also be from a different angle also the exact opposite.
I am not a Biblical scholar in any way, but when Jesus overturned the money changers tables in the temple, is a corollary to what Trump and Musk are doing to the grifters in the federal government?
It was misuse while liberal “scholars” betray their ignorance blindness and deception.
Amazing how the left can politicize anything, even Jesus, the guy who said “render unto Caeser that which is Caeser’s”.
Islam, as horrible as it is, does envision a desired end state, a heaven. When John Lennon wrote “Imagine there’s no heaven”, he was talking about Marxism. What they have in common is that they are fueled by hate and that they suck. But otherwise not really too similar.
The ones Democrats ignore and denigrate.
You know.
Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
God’s word weighs in heavily too, we even have a freeper by the same name!
eccl 10:2
Ecclesiastes 10:2 says “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left”.
I think God is also warning of cino / rino too when He says
“Lean neither to the right or the left nor to thine own understanding”
Oops not quite quoted correctly - story of my life...
Proverbs 3:5-6 is a familiar passage to many: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” Verse 5 is a complementary pair of commands. We are told, positively, to trust the Lord and, negatively, not to trust our own understanding. Those two things are mutually exclusive. In other words, if we trust in the Lord, we cannot also depend upon our own ability to understand everything God is doing.
“... Right-wing influencers have weaponized the Bible as a political tool ...”
That’s where I stopped reading this juvenile commentary from this so-called journalist. I don’t have time to give to such sophistry.
