So that Bishop who lectured President Trump is a right-winger? Well, alrighty then.
Studies PROVE that Republicans and Conservatives give more to charity and more time volunteering than liberals and democrats. and have less mental illness.

Libs and dems are filled with wrath, vengefulness, hatred and violence. Even when they go to DJT rallies, they are shocked at the acceptance, love and patriotism shown by Conservatives and Republicans - some even discuss how badly they are treated when they leave the party and become Conservative.
I would say Jesus would find more in common with the Republican Party and Conservatives than the bitter, hateful libs and dems.
Literally starts of with a straw-man argument then forgets we have God’s own word (Bible) about Jesus.
If we are aligned with the Bible we are aligned with Christ. Typically Christian Republicans try to accept scripture as is, not rewrite it to our perverse passions as the liberal Christians do.
The authors are so educated they are useless fools.
Democrat Pastors are preaching ‘take it my violence’.
It is in the Bible,
Matt 11:
12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
Notice : Kingdom of Heaven
But he is not preaching about the Kingdom of Heaven - but about Trump, et.al.
The article’s author attempts to create a strawman argument to show that the GOP is bad and Dem is good.
HAD. This is the same nonsense as : he gets us. YESHUA made all of Creation, and he is ruler of all Creation, the GOD of the WHOLE Bible.
Yes, that would be guess about this author.
From each according to their ability, to each according to their need might almost work for a small group of people who are literally walking with Christ. Even with 12 Apostles, there was Judas.
I don’t think Christ ever mentioned anything like a communist model for the Roman empire, or even the Jewish state. If everyone gets right by God, then they will be right by each other.
Sorry, Mr. New Testament Scholar, but the New Testament calls the weapon a sword (Luke 22:36), not a dagger. And the sword can be a weapon of mass murder. In AD 532, Roman soldiers killed 30,000 rebels with their swords when they put down the Nika Rebellion in Constantinople.
wonder what the text message fees were back then...
“Atheist communists resorting to citing Christ is so sickening.”
I love the smell of communists frying while resorting to citing Christ!
Jesus essentially was telling the Jews to give the Roman authority its due and at the same time give God His due. Theologians will tell you that when confronted with choosing between God's will and Caesar's - God's will is to be obeyed. From Rome to Mao - this confrontation has manifest in regimes killing, torturing and imprisoning Christians. The unique thing about our nation is that "we the people" are (or should be) Caesar.
I guarantee you that the Lord's prayer - "Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." does not include as His will: killing babies in the womb, mutilating the gender or our children, gross perversion of every sort, doing the opposite of the Commandments.
If we want to know what Jesus wants on earth, we need to envision the values and morality of heaven. One thing is sure as hell - the values the democrat party promotes are anti-Christian and Satanic. The values the republican party promotes are less anti-Christian than those of the democrats.
We are in a spiritual battle. Although we fight not against flesh and blood, we need to understand that our spiritual enemy works through evil people. If Christians in American want to bring heaven to earth, then we need to work and put forth our Christian world view; we need to participate in legislating laws and morality that reflect the Lord's worldview specific for our nation. Don't buy into the "separation of church and state lie." If Jesus is Lord in your life, then let Him be at all times and in all places.
The equation of a first-century dagger with a modern weapon of mass murder is indefensible.
Facepalm.
At a broader level, you have the overarching paradigm that construes Jesus and his followers as Christians and his opponents as Jews. This simplistic Christian vs. Jew framework has been the cause of much anti-Semitism throughout history.
Remind me of who are the anti-Semites these days?
I think Tony used to be Toni:
“Suffer the little children to come unto me” doesn’t sound like an abortion Endorsement
If you read the bible, it’s obvious that Jesus is a non-binary, tranny, vegan (the “fishes” in “loaves and fishes” is obviously just a metaphor), LGBTQ+ kind of guy. Matthew establishes that he was firmly in favor of the Pharisee and Sanhedrin lock on political power and favors and that his followers should absolutely not give directly to the poor. Rather, they should pay high taxes and let Rome take care of stuff like that. Also, he was strongly in favor of Rome funding transgender operas in Peru. Solar power was a sacrament and he hated white people. He forbade his followers from dead-naming and from saying Latino or Latina. He must have required the use of “LatinX” twenty times in the new testament.
And, Jesus clearly says (red letter text) that the money changers in the temple were ‘Christian Republicans.”
In one of his most important prophecies, he foretold the coming of a great leader named Pocahontas. She would have high cheekbones and throw the wampun-changers out of the temple.
It could hardly be more clear than that.
Thanks for posting. Now I don’t have to buy the book.
Jesus was not a Republican, and I’m sure He would say that any Republican who did not confess Him as Lord and turn away from sin would perish in the lake of fire.
He would also point out that His kingdom was not of this world.
But if you go to Little Caesar’s, render what you owe for the pizza.
This brings up a very interesting situation.
I have a couple of friends who I went to church with a few years ago. I don’t go to that church anymore, they do. (It is a Southern Baptist church.)
Ever since the election, I’ve seen posts from them online that don’t speak very well of President Trump, Musk, or anything that’s been happening since the inauguration. They also seem to say that Jesus would not have liked what they are doing, In fact, He would be doing exactly the opposite. That is, if you’re here in this country, even illegally, we as Christians should treat them as our neighbors.
Also, they are very much against what Elon is doing in trying to root out the waste and fraud. They are of the belief that anything that gets cut is going to hurt us and it is not to be touched at all.
I am hesitating to confront them online because I don’t want to start a war. But I think that they have both completely lost their minds. I’m also beginning to wonder whether their belief in Christ is genuine. I’m of the opinion that if you are a liberal, there is no way in God’s green earth you could be a Christian.
Thoughts?
The left is doing everything it can to erase Jesus and God trinity from our country and from the earth which = hell . Any input from anyone like that is worthless.
