Funny how your argument against my post comes without substance.
I’d say your problem is far worse than what you try to say mine is, if my suspicions about you are correct.
It’s fine for one person to admit they can’t see what another can. But to extend to an assertion that the thing doesn’t exist is disingenuous at best.
Two or three points can help fill in some time of the areas missing from your perspective.
1. Gloria Steinem pretended not to be a CIA agent as her spearheading of the feminist movement caused it to grow to nationwide proportions.
2. The military-industrial complex acted like they had nothing to do with planting the seeds of the hippie movement in Laurel Canyon in 1966.
You claimed that some nefarious "cabal" rules the world and makes everyone see/hear/watch engage in whatever they deem we should. Or were you just being flippant?
How many 100s of years would say that that has been going on, or...are you talking ONLY about say that last 100, 50, or 10 years? Please specify.
So besides world wide, perhaps you'll allow me to only discuss America, AFTER I begin the lecture several millennia ago.
Depending upon the country/empire ( I am leaving out much earlier times )the emperor/king/leading elites and to some extent, depending upon the nation, the top elites of the local religion/s were not only the arbiters of good taste, re songs, plays, entertainments, they did NOT prohibit lesser forms, for the lower classes, who mainly entertained themselves to some extent or another.
Fast forward to Christianized Europe, and the Pope/the Catholic church made many/most rulings on music/entertainments; however, due to cultural differences, as well as class systems, these "rules"/religious laws were often ignored to some extent or other.
Quickly moving forwards in time and space, but still 100s of years ago, still sans your world wide "Cabal", due to the nature of humankind, yes, many of the lower classes would find some interest in what the elites were enjoying, re music, dance, and some of the other entertainments then "trendy"/popular.
With travel made available to more people, different cultures were brought to different places ( think colonial America ), which in turn, were then strengthened and/or changed, through the generations and people being able to change classes more easily here, than they had been in Europe.
Still and all,due to human nature being what it was and is, people were and still are drawn to things which you may disapprove of or not; with NO outside help/interference/prodding at all! Ergo...POOF goes your "conspiracy theory"!
Going back to say the mid 1800s...there was an explosion of spiritualism, the occult, and many different kinds of music and play available both here and abroad. And NO ONE GROUP OF SUPPOSED ELITES WAS DIRECTING ANY OF THAT, ANYWHERE!
Opera, ballet, operettas, and many different kinds of less formal music were popular everywhere! RAGTIME, which originated in Southern whorehouses came north and became popular music. Dances to it were invented and all kinds of different classes did those dances!
A few years later and such dances as the the Tango ( South American thug subculture ), the Apache ( low class French gang subculture ), were being danced by middle class, upper middle class, and even elites at Tea Dances. AND NO DAMNED CABAL HAD A HAND IN THAT!
I can easily go on and on and on and ON with examples and more historical facts, but I've probably bored most who might have begun to read this comment and IF you STILL haven't "got it", from this very brief lesson, then NOTHING I can write is going to change your mind and I have wasted time and effort, that could have been used in a much more profitable way.
