Climate is just long term weather patterns.
And average weather is just the average of ALL measurements, including extremes.
The average temperature for us today is a high of 33 and a low of 10 with a record high of 59 and record low of -20.
IOW, extremes happen and mean nothing in spite of all the hyperventilating over them.
Nor is there the likelihood that any one day will have EXACTLY average weather. It’s ALWAYS going to be higher or lower in both temperature and precipitation.
But none of that matters to the peddlers of fear porn.
We had six inches of snow on the ground last month, on the Gulf Coast!
Never in living memory has that ever happened. Louisiana had its first Blizzard Warning! I-10 was shut down from NOLA to Tallahassee.
