10 “high-threat illegal aliens” were sent to the facility. Those individuals are being held until they can be transported to their home country or another destination.

10k of them. Another website said it was $80k per prisoner per year. Can anybody do the math? Seems excessive.
Dump off Paul Engelmayer at Gitmo.
Not shown are the heavily armed guards on the 3rd tier.
My other idea that’s been presented more than once:
Every old Ford Fiesta and Ranger sitting in our nations’ junkyards could be sent to Guantanamo on a barge. Allow the detainees to work on them and trade them to the Cubans for cigars and an old Hudson. Include Spanish language repair manuals.
At present there are only 1.5 million cars in the country. When Cuba is free they’re more likely to be tied into a Ford than Toyotas or Kias.
And not shown are sob sisters who are crying for these evil people. The El Salvadorans are happy to once again have a safe country.
I’m surprised that we haven’t heard a big international uproar over the treatment of these evil people at the prison. Lights are on 24/7, cells are crammed full, a barrel of water, only 20 or 30 minutes of exercise per day.
This is where we need to send the worst of the worst we round up in the USA.
We could also have them peddling bikes to generate clean energy and brew beer.
Love that idea.
I’d send them out to sea on an old auto transport ship or similar. Then I’d use it for target practice until it sinks.
I don’t think the place has room for ten thousand thugs(maximum security) so a way station revolving door would work best. At some point they won’t need a prison there.
Seriously?
On the face of it not a bad idea and I could sympathize. It just does not comport with the dignity and respect that ought to characterize a disciplined people who revere due process and shy away from overt passion.
“It just does not comport with the dignity and respect that ought to characterize a disciplined people who revere due process and shy away from overt passion.”
This.
**I doubt it costs El Salvador $80k per year to house a prisoner at CECOT. I hope we start sending them there ASAP.**
Makes me wonder if there will be a copy-cat movement around the continent or even the world. I wouldn’t mind China using our prisoners in their factories to compete against us. Recidivism would go down I’m sure. I just want them out of here at minimal cost.
You think practically and in a good way.
At what point does it become necessary to just wipe them out? That is not the aim. Destruction of every life is the devil’s aim.
From the perspective of justice, I would at least demand revocation of voting rights. If an innocent life was taken by your hand (hello, abortionist), then death for you.
Can be transported another destination.
Devils island can still be repaired.
Just read “Papillion”. Then I looked up Devil’s island on Wikipedia. It seem there were only a dozen people on the island at any one time. Supplies were put on a clothes line from the next island. Sharks did the guard work. I’d make every cruise ship dump their unused food there.
Didn’t read the book on Papillion I know it had to be better than the movie books are that way.
Both were very good. One line in the book was first person. “I am not that good of a writer” as he described something. Fact is he was a very good writer.
I’ll have to reed the book like them better then a movie they cover more details.
