SDNY District Judge Paul Engelmayer, on February 8, ruled (outrageously) that the entire DOGE team, Musk, and EVEN TREASURY SECRETARY BESSENT cannot access any Treasury Department records, and must destroy the ones they possess.
This ABSOLUTELY INSANE ruling makes as much sense as banning the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth from all military bases.
...And, a lifetime supply of bacon.
I will always have enough bacon, so long as they keep making grocery store windows out of glass.
What happens in the meantime, though? DOGE and Musk will be delayed........
Good question. Your tech savvy. I was wondering how AI works. Once it is “trained” does it need to access the original data or has it become integrated in AI. If so, can AI that they are using still answer questions? Does Musk really care if they do not have continued access?
LOL 🤣🤣🤣😆😆
Laz there is one huge problem with your idea.
A pardon is offered to a person, the person must accept the pardon.
The SCOTUS ruled that accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. And can only be offered if the person is charged with a crime. IOW there is no such thing as a blanket pardon as the ones Biden issued.
Carter.
Ford.
The judge is clever with his “heads I win, tails you lose” ruling. If Trump and Doge don’t destroy the records (evidence), it’s impeachment fuel for ignoring a judicial ruling. If they do destroy the records(evidence) it’s impeachment fuel for obstruction of justice. Watch for more such rulings from these judges.
As I said, Trump and DOGE should carry on.
Top Kek, troll.
Trump should ignore the ruling or get it overturned by a higher court; go through the records with a fine-toothed comb;
and then arrest the judge as an accessory after the fact by going beyond his (the judge’s) authority for attempting to order the destruction of evidence.
Put the judge in prison in Wyoming or somewhere else suitably distasteful to a Jewish Harvard grad.
Carter Ford. Right and no one challenged it in court so it would jave failed
