I don't know about the Bible, but Frank Herbert predicted this in his novel Dune, in his account of the
Butlerian Jihad, a war in the future where mankind, to save itself, had to destroy all computers.
The single surviving religion had only one command: "Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind".

“To my mind, it appears that the Bible — having predicted things accurately so many times — has predicted the rise of Artificial General Intelligence. Perhaps this is the apple we should not have eaten. Personally, I’m a little flabbergasted at how incredibly accurate the prophecies of the Bible are... even a chapter, Genesis, that I routinely dismissed as fable.”
This last year has been incredibly accurate Laz...

Please add me to your AI ping list.:->

Is there a need for you to make a separate ping list?
Would a new ping list distinguish and segregate the different wonderings of your brain?

Automation is but one thing. The fine motor skills of a skilled tradesman in performing delicate tasks are another. The fine touch and critical eye of someone with many years of experience will be difficult to replicate by AI.
Or the arts- a computer may write a symphony but will it be able to inject feeling into a performance by synthesized instruments?
Real world experience canโt be learned overnight by a computer, or a human.
AI will have useful applications, but in training and trusting it to do more and more, we must take care not to lose what makes us human.
I fear that we will begin to depend upon AI so much that eventually AI will become another โbureaucracyโ that will start telling US what to do. If it eventually becomes self-aware, it may become judgmental and critical of its creators.

Sure I haven’t been on a ping list for ages.
My company is totally chugging the koolaid. Half the features in the next version are “use AI to...” Some of them actually make sense. Most of them AI is totally overkill to do a feature we already have.

This one would be focused only on AI topics.

Added!
Per your comment about 'leveraging' AI for tasks you already have an efficient process for, there is a tendency for major- and mid-level corporations to embrace the Newest, Shiniest Toy. Chalk their behavior up to that.
I, on the other hand, have leveraged AI to make quick and accurate summaries of Zoom meetings (and developed an instructional video that shows how). The vid has been viewed by over 250 people, including Directors and a Senior Vice President. My next AI project is to leverage it to assist someone legally blind to do their work. I expect, if successful, that project will make a huge splash in the company. Might even give them a saleable product.... if it does, I expect to be named Director of that division. ๐
