I think this is likely true, but their culture is something they bring with them, and unless we have some method of training it out of them, it is a permanent part of what they are.
I have a friend that says the problem with Gaza is that they are taught to hate the Jews from the time they are born till the time they die, and the only solution is to get those kids away from their parents and break the cycle of their parents teaching them hate.
While this makes sense on the one hand, we oppose this very sort of thinking from liberals who feel they need to do that with American kids.
But I don't see a solution to people taught to behave badly because they were raised in a bad culture.
It can be done. The Nazis and the Imperial Japanese were pretty crazy. So we waged total war with them.
It's clear that Hamas is as fanatical in Gaza and Israel is not allowed to wage total war on them because they're dependent on armed shipments from USA.
Muslims make up 20% of the population in Israel and from what I see, they are productive citizens.
