This NEVER ends well!!
Costly, yes.
The USA ripped off by contractors? Yes.
Will it be direct graft like the monsters bush and cheney? NO. Trump is an honest and good man.
But he can’t control everything.
This may be a BAD idea.
But with Trump, he’s got a way of doing the impossible...so I will wait and see.
Not that I have any real say anyway besides voting :)

A relative of mine was paid to do work in Afghanistan some years ago. Building roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
He said the Afghans would steal the raw materials or in some cases destroy the new structures to harvest the materials to sell for money.
