President Trump on Sunday slammed the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), arguing it is poorly run after recent news reports that he is considering merging the agency with the State Department.
The president told reporters that his administration will get the “lunatics” out of the agency before a decision is made about its future.
“It’s been run by a bunch of radical lunatics, and we’re getting them out. USAID, run by radical lunatics, and we’re getting them out, and then we’ll make a decision,” Trump said.

Trump also praised billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk on Sunday night, after reports that two top USAID security officials were put on leave after trying to stop the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Musk leads, from accessing its systems.

Some big money groups profit off of USAID using the “Liberals” “compassion” to sell the aid ideas to the Dims, and the RINOs not wanting to appear “heartless” (because they lack the communications skills to defend a Conservative position) just go along. Meanwhile the “aid” buys billions in U.S. stuff, which buys the political donations to keep supporting the “aid”.

I thought USAID was merged with State decades ago. The usaid budget was controlled by State. I did a college project on State that included budget projections and USAID project money was listed and state dictated where the money was to be sent to. So USAID may be fulled with bleeding heart wackos but who the money was sent to came from Congress and executive branch priorities.

After the Purge/DownSize of the State Department, it will be a long time recovering. Which is good.
