Phil has never been abused, otherwise he would never had made it to 139 years old.

The idiots don’t seem to realize that ‘Phil’ is a domesticated rodent - a PET. He probably lives a life of pampered luxury.

I doubt anyone is ‘pulling him out’ of anything he wants to stay in.
