I do not believe that the legacy DC media turned a blind eye on the shenanigans of USAID.
They knew.
And, in many ways, benefitted from it.
From direct financial support (and likely a few CIA/Journalists) to research and [CLAS] documentation to use against Trump.
They are complicit in the internal coup.
