Stretching noodle trying to figure out WTH this could be. Seismic is usually pretty damn “spot on” with regards to location and depth, but there is nearly 0 possibility that something was detonated here AT 16km (9.94 miles or 52,500 feet). The magnitude is equivalent to about 35 pounds of TNT. The nearby mine would have most likely used quite a bit more, and it would have either been a surface shot, or way shallower than 16km.

I’ve never been a huge follower/tracker of all the “underground tunnel complex” aspect of “conspiracy theory”, but between the 80 or 90% of them being true now, and something like this...Hmmm...

M 2.0 Explosion - 56 km S of Kingston, Nevada
Time
2025-02-27 12:02:17 (UTC-08:00)
Location
38.701°N 117.149°W
Depth
16.0 km

at 16 kilometers, the temperature would be approximately 400°C to 480°C, assuming a constant geothermal gradient.

A boom 56 Km south of Kingston, NV? That’s in the back yard of the Hawthorne Naval Ammo Depot so I’d start being suspicious right thar?. And 35 lbs of TNT could be a case of 50% dynamite or about 5 gallons of ANFO? I’d be pretty sure nobody is down there since 10 miles deep would be HOT.

The geothermal drilling guys are reaching pretty deep but 10 miles is way past hot enough for steam? Bald Mountain is there. Maybe something volcanic is starting to move?
