It has been suggested that the blocks used by the Incas involved some form of casting rather than stone working. (Leather bags filled with a cement like compound that hardened.)

Interesting. It goes by a bit fast to completely understand the whole process, but he did it. I worried about bodily injury; he did address that. The video doesn't show how he got the lintel block atop two pillars. He did raise one about three feet but that seems extremely dangerous at six to eight feet in height.

I doubt the leather bag part. The leather skin would leave a gap but it is shown that not the thinnest blade will pass between the stones. There is also speculation that there was a leaf or plant and that birds would carry them to a stone and peck on them and soften the stone, for whatever reason. That doesn't explain the process to me but perhaps if I observed the incident ... ❓
