Had to be some kind of waver/exemption/special application involved if the chick was allowed to pilot a chopper with a yard of loose hair. Maybe she got demoted to white hut duty for having that wad of fur? No way in bleep is anyone with that much hair getting into my cockpit. There are just too many things that can go sideways if a bunch of wool gets in the way? Electric/electronic devices are not hair friendly. Not to mention that it frequently stinks. I remember the LRRP guys not even allowing hair oil and after shave-—charley could smell it. And in an oxygen rich space it’s embarrassing if your hair “diesels.” And don’t ever let me catch you looking away from your controls, on anything, to brush the hair out of yer face.
Women know how to fix their hair so it is not an issue.
