This is a Federal matter.
Trump needn’t ignore or challenge McConnell.
Can’t Bondi just explain that the DOJ will decline to prosecute the Executive in this matter going forward?
She can simply inform the DistAtty in SDNY to disregard the matter as it is patently unconstitutional?
Wouldn’t the DOJ be the prosecuting entity?
