President Trump’s nominees for Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Director of the FBI will be facing confirmation hearings in the U.S. Senate this week.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to face sharp questioning over his nomination to head the Dept. of Health & Human Services because of his skepticism toward the effectiveness of the federal food and medicine regulatory apparatus.
In particular, large numbers of employees of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have been preparing their letters of resignation for the past two months and say they will quit if RFK Jr. is confirmed as HHS Secretary.
Jessica Malaty Rivera is an advisor with the Debeaumont Foundation, she says she’s aware of “multiple employees” with agencies like the CDC who she says, “They refuse to work for this administration,” she says. “I understand it, but it’s terrifying. Because we don’t want to be in the position where everyone working at these agencies is anti-medicine, anti-science.”
As Secretary of HHS, Kennedy would have broad authority to oversee the operations of the CDC, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration.
Kennedy has faced criticism over his concerns regarding vaccine safety and for his book “The Real Anthony Fauci” which tracks the career path of the man who became the public face of the federal Covid response.
However, Kennedy has also attracted support from former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield who has recently partnered with him on evaluating the efficacy and safety of vaccines.
The threat of potentially hundreds of CDC employees quitting their jobs underscores the seriousness with which the Trump administration is going about correcting the mistakes of the previous administration.
Looked for it but didn’t see it so—
WELL, BYE!
Hard but not impossible.

Is this like all the actors saying they’d leave the country if Trump got elected?

Will they follow through or are their threats like those of celebrities like Streisand, Cher etc. - who always threaten to leave when they don’t get their way but never do?
Cool, change is GOOD. Maybe they will remove their Trans Gender encouraging agenda from their website.
They refuse to work for this administration.........then quit today because you entitled brats work for the American people and the President they elected. You don’t like it—leave. I am so sick of these people.
Parasites, in their comfortable sinecures, willingly giving up their firm grips sucking the life from the American taxpayers?
I’ll believe it when I see it.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the national public health agency of the United States. It is a United States federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services, and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Communicable Disease Center was founded July 1, 1946, as the successor to the World War II Malaria Control in War Areas program of the Office of National Defense Malaria Control Activities.
Preceding its founding, organizations with global influence in malaria control were the Malaria Commission of the League of Nations and the Rockefeller Foundation. The Rockefeller Foundation greatly supported malaria control, sought to have the governments take over some of its efforts, and collaborated with the agency.
The new agency was a branch of the U.S. Public Health Service and Atlanta was chosen as the location because malaria was endemic in the Southern United States.
With a budget at the time of about $1 million, 59 percent of its personnel were engaged in mosquito abatement and habitat control with the objective of control and eradication of malaria in the United States (see National Malaria Eradication Program).
Among its 369 employees, the main jobs at CDC were originally entomology and engineering. In CDC’s initial years, more than six and a half million homes were sprayed, mostly with DDT. In 1946, there were only seven medical officers on duty and an early organization chart was drawn.
As of 2021, CDC staff numbered approximately 15,000 personnel (including 6,000 contractors and 840 United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps officers) in 170 occupations.

What I’m finding with FEMA and the CDC is that there seems to be a lot of bloat.
The DOGE folks should take note. As well as targeting unnecessary agencies, the DOGE folks should estimate how many people a needed agency should need.
Not that. They are so Narcissistic that they believe they are special and that they are doing special work that dolts like Kennedy and Trump can’t even grasp. They will not allow themselves to adhere to such low standards. Entitled egoists.
Bye Bye
Self-induced elimination. Win-win.
They are gone and there is no need for complicated firing strategies.
