He met Paul Allen, let Paul do the heavy coding, and then backstabbed him when Paul first got cancer in the 1980s and harassed him enough for not working hard enough during chemo that Allen finally accepted a buyout.
Allen writes about it in his autobiography. Bill Gates is an awful person, definitely a sociopath, and quite possibly a psychopath.
